Students are not the only members of the NYU community: their parents are, too! We understand that, to both parents and students, NYU can seem large and daunting and NYC even more so.
We hope the information we provide here and via email to students is helpful to your student as they prepare for study at NYU. As a parent, the best thing you can do to assist your student with preparations is to discuss Summer in NYC with one another. Conversations about what to expect while studying at NYU and living in New York City can be immensely helpful.
As an NYU parent this summer, you can also connect with the University through NYU Parent Resources, a division of the Student Resource Center. Parent Resources is available to you to assist you with learning about NYU, navigating its many resources, offices, and services, and helping you to help your student during the summer months. If you have questions about NYU, do not hesitate to contact Parent Resources at firstname.lastname@example.org or the Office of University Programs at email@example.com.
